Who are you guys?
We are Jody Cedzidlo and Eric Haugen, a couple of sweethearts in North Carolina. We are soup-making, vegetable-growing, dog-walking nerds around 30 years of age. Jody is the designer, printer, and photographer behind Flytrap, the one "with a college degree in what things look like." Flytrap is Jody's full-time occupation.
Eric is the shirt-folding, box-carrying, moral-support-giving, car-driving, coffee-making, behind-the-scenes psychotherapist that keeps the gears of Flytrap turning every day. The unsung hero also teaches lots and lots of people to play guitar 5 days a week.
Is this stuff printed by hand?
Yes, yes, and double yes. Every single item in this shop is, and has always been, printed by hand, and we take the utmost care in guaranteeing high-quality, totally permanent professional printing.
How can I pay for my order?
This website accepts payments through Paypal, but you don't need a Paypal account to place your order. You can just use a credit or debit card if you want.
How and when will you ship my order?
Flytrap guarantees shipment within 1-2 business days. We use USPS 1st Class or USPS Priority Mail. We provide tracking information for all domestic shipments; we insure shipments over $100. For environmental reasons, items are shipped in a 100% recycled brown envelope, and we do not include an itemized receipt.
What if I live outside the United States?
International shipping charges reflect the cost of U.S. First Class Air Mail, which is supposed to take 5-10 business days, but we have observed longer delivery times in some cases. All international packages are insured, regardless of value.
What if my item is a gift?
When you pay, there is a place to write instructions to us, so if your purchase is a gift, let us know! We will include a cute card with a handwritten message of your choice.
What if my item doesn't arrive?
Flytrap insures all international packages and all packages over $100 in value. Outside of those cases--if your item is lost in the mail, Flytrap cannot be held responsible.
What if my item doesn't fit?
Please note that we always provide garment specs, and we urge you to measure yourself to ensure a good fit. An accurate and easy method is to lay your favorite shirt flat on a table and measure it across, armpit to armpit, then double that number for your chest measurement. Still, if you would prefer to exchange for a different size, we will mail you a replacement shirt as soon as we receive your return. Please email Jody for help.
What if I changed my mind?
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase because of color, because you changed your mind, etc., we are happy to provide equal exchanges for other merchandise.
Can I just shop in person?
We provide an up-to-date list of boutiques that carry Flytrap! These shops do an excellent job of keeping their shelves well-stocked and inviting. We cannot, unfortunately, offer a boutique-style atmosphere in our studio, as things can get pretty crowded in here with all the boxes of shirts, ink containers, and Sadie, the shop dog, running around and acting a fool.
